For years the Wilson High Alumni Golf Tournament forwarded proceeds to the school to fund two worthy endeavors: five scholarships in the amount of $2,500 with the remainder going to the individual sports. The “Skip” Rowland Scholarship Fund was initiated in order to relieve the tournament of the scholarship expense and allow all the funds raised to be donated to the various sports.
Now that the fund has been solidified, all proceeds from the event now go directly to Wilson Sports to benefit the student-athletes. We honor our history with the fund on this page and thank the following individuals for coordinating the effort for so many years.
