Founded in 1987 by Skip Rowland and a team of dedicated Wilson High School Alumni, the Wilson High School Alumni Golf Tournament benefits all sports at Long Beach’s Woodrow Wilson High School. Year after year, the tournament strives to provide all sports with the opportunity to get critical funding they otherwise wouldn’t have.
To accomplish this the tournament relies on a dedicated alumni comprised of participants, sponsors and vendors. “Our alumni come together to produce one of the most fun-filled events of the year,” says Greg Silver, chairman of the tournament. “Every year Wilson High graduates look forward to coming together in support of these athletic programs and they enjoy getting together in a reunion-type atmosphere.”
